Quite a few brands feel the need to emphasize how long they’re been in business and display this information prominently. Some examples include:┬áStella Artois since 1366, Martin Guitars since 1833, Levi Strauss since 1873.

The length of time implies that you’ve perfected your product, how you make it, and you’ve made all the mistakes in the past, etc.

While I appreciate experience and often tout my own experience (22+ years, in case you were interested) the amount of time you’ve been doing something is no substitute for being able to do it well now.

Despite my two decades of experience, I know full well that my firm is only as good as its last project.
